Young Person's Pastoral Worker: Phil Taylor
Phil joined us in October 2019 after 9 years serving as a youth worker in Newham in London. He has extensive experienced of working with young people, school chaplaincy and serving the local community.

Trustees and Vestry
The Trustees and Vestry support the Rector in the mission of the church and in taking responsibility for the associated legal, financial and practical matters.
Ownership of St Thomas' property is held on behalf of the congregation by three Trustees who also have an important role in supporting the spiritual foundations of the church. They work with the twelve members of Vestry, some of whom are appointed by the Vestry and some elected by the congregation at the Annual General Meeting. Vestry members serve for up to two consecutive three-year terms.
In consultation with the Bishop, the Trustees and Vestry are responsible for the appointment of the Rector when a vacancy occurs.
The church is constituted as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) so the Rector, Trustees and Vestry members all act in the capacity of charity trustees in accordance with the relevant legislation.
