Prayer

We are committed to prayer and there are a number of opportunities for us to get involved:

  • Prayer Base: on the first Sunday of each month we meet at 7 pm to pray for an hour, for the church, the world and ourselves. We meet in person at church.

  • Other Sunday evenings: On most other Sundays we meet to pray for 30 minutes on Zoom at 7 pm.

  • Noontide Prayer: in the sanctuary, for about 30 minutes on the 4th Sunday of the month after the main service (and after a suitable break for coffee)

  • Homegroups: our homegroups are meeting in person and/or online, to study God's word together, to pray, and to support each other.

  • Monthly Thursday central meeting: we gather at the church to pray and learn together on the third week of the month.

  • The World Day of Prayer: members of St Thomas' are involved in this annual event. More information available from the World Day of Prayer Scottish Committee website. St Thomas' hosted the 2024 event on Friday 1st March.

If you have a pastoral need, please make us aware and we will try to assist you.
